Melanie Jones, AACI, P. App
Melanie is the founding principal of Values Defined and has been working in the real estate profession since 1996. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (1986) as well as Urban Land Economics (1996), both from the University of British Columbia. In 1998, Melanie obtained her Accredited Appraisal Canadian Institute, Professional Designation. Prior to founding Values Defined, Melanie worked as property valuator and negotiator for both the City of Surrey and the City of North Vancouver.
Erin McGregor, MBA, AIC Candidate
Erin, a Senior Appraisal Consultant and Business Development Executive, has been with Values Defined since 2021. With extensive experience in commercial lending, Erin is now focusing on the appraisal of commercial, industrial and investment properties on the Sunshine Coast, Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky corridor. She holds an MBA (2022), in addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
John Yanny,
B. Comm, PMP, AIC Candidate
John, a Senior Appraisal Consultant and Business Development Executive, is based out of our Vernon office and provides commercial appraisal services throughout the Okanagan. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, UBC Post Graduate in Real Property Valuation and is a certified Project Management Professional. John enjoys the four seasons that the Okanagan has to offer and enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife and children. His favourite thing about real estate appraisal are the challenging and complex properties where defining value becomes an art. This is where John’s knowledge and research abilities play a major role.
Eleni Kripotos,
BA, CRA Candidate
Born and raised in Vancouver, Eleni has gained experience in the residential market managing property rentals within the city since 2016. Before joining Values Defined in 2022, she developed and ran an E-commerce business, where she further grew her knowledge in business development and customer service. At Values Defined Eleni concentrates on residential appraisals in the Lower Mainland, Sea-to-Sky area, the Sunshine Coast and Fraser Valley. As a certified yoga teacher, Eleni practices several times a week in her spare time and enjoys staying active outdoors with her two dogs.
